Performance Creative Strategist - Creative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Creative Strategist - Creative based in the United States.

This role combines creative strategy, performance marketing, audience insights, and data analysis to drive measurable growth for global brands.
You will translate performance data into compelling creative strategies, messaging frameworks, and testing roadmaps.
As a strategic partner to clients, you will connect creative thinking with business and media objectives.
You will collaborate closely with designers, art directors, media specialists, researchers, and production teams to turn insights into high-performing advertising.
The role requires a balance of analytical rigor, creative intuition, strong communication, and a willingness to experiment.
You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement are central to delivering client impact.

Accountabilities
  • Develop creative briefs and campaign strategies that address audience barriers, identify opportunities for new audiences, and support measurable performance.

  • Analyze creative concepts and performance results to understand what drives success or underperformance, translating findings into actionable testing and iteration strategies.

  • Serve as a primary client-facing strategic partner, confidently navigating both creative and performance-focused discussions.

  • Build trusted client relationships through high-quality strategic recommendations, proactive communication, and consistent execution.

  • Anticipate client needs and provide clear, data-driven recommendations while ensuring creative output remains polished, on-brand, and aligned with campaign objectives.

  • Develop creative and media briefs that translate product, brand, audience, and performance insights into effective concepts.

  • Lead creative testing roadmaps across global accounts, connecting messaging strategy and experimentation directly to optimization goals.

  • Partner with media teams to connect creative testing results with key performance indicators such as CTR, CPA, and conversions.

  • Collaborate with creative, design, and production teams to develop assets aligned with client objectives and media best practices.

  • Manage creative workflows from briefing and production through iteration, testing, and optimization.

  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback that strengthens storytelling and improves creative performance.

  • Prioritize creative pipelines according to business objectives, potential impact, timelines, and client expectations.

  • Partner with research teams to conduct market research and trend analysis that informs creative direction.

  • Distill complex creative and performance data into concise, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through case studies, presentations, content, and other strategic materials.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, communications or content strategy, media buying, performance marketing, or a related discipline; agency experience is strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of performance creative across paid media channels such as Google UAC, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and similar platforms.

  • Solid understanding of creative testing methodologies and optimization of down-funnel performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify meaningful insights, and turn findings into creative recommendations and testing strategies.

  • Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and confidently communicate a compelling strategic point of view.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows simultaneously.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of projects and outcomes from strategy through execution.

  • A track record of developing or influencing high-performing creative strategies for global or complex clients is preferred.

  • Genuine interest in performance creative, experimentation, and continuous optimization.

  • A proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to challenge existing approaches with ideas grounded in data and audience insight.

  • Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to contributing to team success and client growth.
