Senior Compliance Consultant in London, England at Rck Partners

We are now looking to recruit a Senior Compliance Consultant to join our Risk & Compliance team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing R&D claims prepared by our in-house expert Technical Consultants to ensure accuracy, due diligence and compliance with HMRC legislation and guidance. In addition, you will also be responsible for defending enquiries received from the Revenue, where further information and evidence may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review R&D claims prepared by Technical Consultants, including on complex submissions

· Managing enquiries to a successful resolution and guiding clients through the process

· Point of contact /technical expert for ad-hoc queries from R&D Technical Consultants and Business Development Team

· Support/supervision of technical scoping calls for the Consulting team, as and when required

· Involvement in pitching to prospective clients

· Contribute to the drive for continuous improvement, including technical training and process improvements

Experience Required:

· Current background in R&D, with strong technical knowledge

· Experience of reviewing/submitting claim reports and defending HMRC enquiries

· Excellent attention to detail and able to identify improvements to processes

· Self-starter approach and mindset
