Job Description

Sr. Manager, User Acquisition

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager, User Acquisition based in United States.

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on accelerating mobile customer acquisition and sustainable growth.
You’ll own performance across a multi-million-dollar acquisition portfolio and influence both near-term efficiency and long-term customer value.
The role combines hands-on channel management with strategic work across segmentation, attribution, experimentation, and measurement.
You’ll partner closely with Data, Product, and Creative teams to improve the full journey from acquisition through activation and downstream value.
Success will require strong analytical judgment, commercial ownership, and a willingness to challenge established approaches.
You’ll join a lean, collaborative environment where autonomy, curiosity, and experimentation are highly valued.
The opportunity is ideal for a growth leader who wants meaningful ownership over a rapidly evolving consumer mobile business.

Accountabilities
  • Own acquisition performance across key paid channels, including install volume, ROAS, and downstream GMV, while managing a multi-million-dollar budget portfolio.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, and emerging acquisition platforms.
  • Build audience segmentation and user-quality frameworks in partnership with Data teams, evaluating acquisition success beyond install volume.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to improve post-install conversion, activation, and downstream customer value.
  • Partner with Creative teams to establish testing strategies, develop performance hypotheses, and identify new creative opportunities.
  • Lead experimentation across audience strategy, bidding approaches, creative concepts, channel expansion, and other growth levers.
  • Contribute to attribution, incrementality, and measurement initiatives, particularly within privacy-constrained mobile environments.
  • Develop reporting frameworks and translate complex acquisition data into actionable recommendations for Growth leadership.
  • Explore AI-enabled workflows and automation tools that improve acquisition efficiency, analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of in-house user acquisition, paid social, or mobile growth experience, with a strong track record of owning business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar acquisition budgets and delivering against install and downstream business metrics.
  • Deep expertise in paid acquisition platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, or comparable channels.
  • Strong understanding of mobile attribution, incrementality, mobile measurement partners (MMPs), and privacy-focused measurement methodologies.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and confidence working with complex datasets to evaluate acquisition quality and business performance.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Data, and Growth teams in a lean or fast-moving organization.
  • Strong experimentation mindset, with the ability to formulate hypotheses, assess results, and turn insights into scalable growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled acquisition workflows, reporting, and automation tools.
  • Experience in marketplace, travel, ticketing, rideshare, or consumer applications is a plus.
  • Experience with retargeting, post-install growth, SKAdNetwork, media mix modeling (MMM), or incrementality-driven budget decisions is desirable.
  • Strong ownership, independence, curiosity, communication skills, and comfort operating in an evolving environment.
Benefits
  • Compensation: $182,000–$215,000 USD annual salary range, with compensation determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and available budget.
  • Competitive equity package.
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO).
  • $1,200 per year in credits for live events.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance and disability benefits.
  • Diverse family-forming benefits through Carrot Fertility.
  • 401(k), HSA, and pre-tax savings programs.
  • Company off-sites and team meet-ups.
  • Wellness programs and tenure recognition.
  • Remote work environment with flexibility.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to bringing together people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
