Intern - Project Management
Summary
UDT is seeking a motivated and highly organized Project Management Intern to work closely with our CEO and assist with a variety of special projects and initiatives. This role will provide hands-on experience coordinating projects, managing priorities, working with vendors, and supporting facilities and other operational needs.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Assist the CEO with coordinating and tracking special projects and priorities.
- Support facilities-related projects, improvements, and other operational initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, service providers, and internal team members.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, action items, and follow-up activities.
- Research products, services, vendors, and other information needed for projects.
- Obtain quotes, schedule appointments, and coordinate project-related activities.
- Maintain organized project documentation, proposals, invoices, and related information.
- Provide regular updates on project status and outstanding items.
- Assist with occasional administrative and personal projects for the CEO as needed.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Take on additional special projects and assignments as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with vendors, contractors, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Resourceful and able to independently research issues and identify solutions.
- Professional, dependable, and able to exercise good judgment and discretion.
