As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk youllbe a key partofmaking sure materials and productsare moreefficientthrough our facility.Youllhelp receive parts and supplies, prepare orders for shipping, and support our team so we can deliver high-quality electrical products to our customers on time.

Accountabilities:

• Receive deliveries and check them to make sure everything is correct
• Pack and ship completed orders to customers
• Move materials to the right departments using a forklift
• Help track inventory by doing simple cycle counts
• Keep records up to dateinour computer system
• Communicate with other teams to help keep work moving smoothly
• Support a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required knowledge/Experience:

• 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving,logistics, or a related area
• Forklift certification is a plus, but notrequired(we can help you get certified)
• Basic computer skills (wellshow you how to use our systems)
• Comfortable withliftingupto 50lbsand doing hands-on work
• A team-first attitude and willingness to learn

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED,Required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Must be able to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to include, but not limited to eye/ear/hand/feet protection.
• Physical exertion may vary. May be required to regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, frequently stand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Work responsibilities may involve manipulating small parts, using hand tools and repetitive motions. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential.
• Must be able to follow instructions and stay alert to potential hazards on the shop floor.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights. Temperatures subject to seasonal weather conditions (hot in summer and cold in winter months).
• Availability and ability to travel, as needed, between MCG manufacturing facilities and/or client sites. Some travel will require overnight stays.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
