Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
1099 Contractor — Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Kissimmee Clinic

❤️ MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an evaluating therapist

* Implement individualized treatment plans

* Help children develop functional and developmental skills

* Provide caregiver education and support

* Monitor and document patient progress

* Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and other members of the care team

* Assist evaluating therapists with treatment planning and re-evaluations

REQUIREMENTS:
*Associate of Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
*Valid Florida OTA License
*Level II fingerprinting/background clearance
*Valid Driver’s License
*Professional Liability Insurance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Pediatric therapy experience ( at least 1 years)
*Feeding therapy experience
*Knowledge of sensory integration
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to physically assist patients with functional activities and therapeutic exercises
*Passion for helping children reach their goals
