BACKGROUND ON THE POSITION:

The Technical Solutions Manager leads and coordinates technical work for our Information Technology deliverables. The position requires a strong application development background in web site, web services, and interactive technology and marketing based concepts and principles.

KEYS FOR SUCCESS:

• 5-7 years of Application Development experience
• 50% hands-on focus
• .Net/J2EE & Oracle technologies
• Experience with Java or web-based language (e.g. .NET, Javascript, jQuery)
• Bachelors Degree

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

• Works as the technical partner and liaison with the our PM organization and other teams for all technical deliverables
• Works with our PM Organization and clients to define technical client requirements and deliverables as required by the delivery methodology
• Manage and direct both the onshore and offshore development teams responsible for delivering website and database
• Trouble shoot, debug and deploy code as and when needed
• Hands-on experience in .Net/J2EE, Oracle technologies
• Contribute and support security initiatives and best practices
• Work closely with Solutions Architects for technical solutions and architectural design needs
• Work closely with creative team for website development initiatives
• Develops and approves the technical project timelines and delivery schedules with the IT Application Director and works closely with our PM organization to ensure and enforce project definition and timing schedules
• Interfaces with clients directly, or indirectly, in the technical sales process as needed and required
• Leads the effort to properly ensure best practice design and overall system architecture for technical deliverables
• Coordinates the flow and priority of technical deliverables within the IT organization
• Works with the IT Application Director on resource staffing and IT deliverable pricing
• Develops code and IT functionality in support projects assigned

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school
• 5-7 years of related Application Development experience and/or training

In depth working knowledge of:

• GIT/SVN
• C#/VB.NET
• .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web Form, Entity Framework, Dapper
• WCF, Web API, Microservices
• JQuery/JavaScript, css3
• Oracle, MS SQL Server

Knowledge of below is a plus:

• JIRA
• CA Rally
• Automobile Domain experience

Desired but not required:

• Microsoft .NET Certification
• Oracle or SQL Server Certification
• PCF
• Postgres SQL
• Knowledge of other programming languages
• Crystal Reports
• Angular JS
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems
• Mobile application development
