You should be comfortable managing complex reporting requirements, supervising accounting professionals, and communicating technical conclusions to executive-level stakeholders.

  • At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience; Big Four or national accounting firm experience is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of SEC reporting experience at a publicly traded company, or equivalent experience auditing public companies.

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, particularly Regulation S-X and Regulation S-K.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.
  • Month-end close experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex accounting matters to senior management and the Audit Committee.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and building and auditing complex financial models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred technical skills:
