We're looking for a Host/Cashier who is welcoming, organized, and dependable.

You're someone who makes every guest feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. You thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can manage the flow of the dining room, handle payments accurately, and keep the front of house running smoothly.

You're comfortable being the first point of contact for our guests and working closely with servers, managers, and kitchen staff. You enjoy creating a warm first impression and keeping things organized when it gets busy.

What You'll Do

• Greet all guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to create a memorable experience.
• Manage the waitlist, seating rotation, and table availability to keep service flowing smoothly.
• Answer phones promptly and take takeout orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and follow all cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, menus, and restrooms as assigned.
• Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff about seating, large parties, and special requests.
• Monitor lobby conditions and guest needs, including ADA access and accommodations.
• Support to-go order packaging and accuracy when volume requires.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards, including proper chemical handling and PPE use when cleaning.

Compensation: $17.13 per hour + tips.

What You Bring

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail when entering orders, quoting wait times, and processing payments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Washington State Food Worker Card required, or must be obtained within 14 days of beginning work.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

The Physical Stuff

• Restaurant-based work environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly walk, bend, and reach.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently (menus, to-go bags, supplies).
• Constant in-person and phone interaction with guests in high-traffic areas.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions while managing front-door flow.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
