• Energy Technician Helper: $26.83/hour
• Energy Technician I: $34.93/hour
• Energy Technician II: $40.66/hour

Join our field operations team and play a vital role in constructing, maintaining, and restoring the electric distribution system that serves our communities. This career progression opportunity allows candidates to enter as an Energy Technician Helper and advance through the Energy Technician workforce based upon experience, qualifications, training, and demonstrated performance.

Depending on classification and experience level, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems
• Building and maintaining power lines, equipment, and electrical facilities
• Restoring electric service and troubleshooting outages
• Operating and maintaining utility vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment
• Setting poles, running conductors, and preparing materials for system use
• Reading meters and supporting field operations
• Supporting vegetation management activities, including tree trimming
• Following and promoting safe work practices
• Maintaining records and documentation
• Assisting in training and mentoring team members as experience increases

• High school diploma or GED required
• Construction, labor, or outdoor work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Desire to develop skills and progress within the Energy Technician career path

• High school diploma or GED required
• Related utility, construction, line work, or field experience preferred
• Current CDL required
• Ability to perform overhead and underground distribution work safely and effectively

• High school diploma or GED required
• One to two years of related utility, construction, or line work experience
• Current CDL required
• Working knowledge of electric utility practices and procedures
• Ability to work independently and assist with training and job planning activities
