Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team reporting to the Director of Quality. The QC Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that our tire tread measurement products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment. The QC Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing audits, and maintaining quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.

What You’ll Do
• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
• Run operational testing of software, verify outputs against defined benchmarks
• Document inspection results and report anomalies to QC Director, Engineering and Production teams
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues and improve product performance
• Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and recommend corrective actions
• Support internal quality audits and assist with standards compliance documentation
• Maintain all testing equipment and ensure calibration schedules are followed
• Assist in training production staff on quality protocols and product specifications
• Support 5S Audits of Quality and Production areas

What You Bring
Required:
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles within an electro-mechanical product manufacturing environment
• Experience with Windows environment and some networking experience including basic LAN/WAN configurations and IP Addressing
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, calipers, micrometers, and software-based testing platforms
• Proficient in using basic automotive tools including drills, wrenches, sockets and ratchets
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• State Class C Driver’s License Required with no moving violations in the last three years
• Must be insured to drive a vehicle in Texas
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949) preferred
• Experience in automotive diagnostics, sensor calibration, or quality control in a tech-driven environment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or automotive technology preferred
