Overview

Liberal Studies is seeking a talented Student Affairs Administrator to join the Student Affairs team. This individual will support the development, delivery, and assessment of school-wide student programs and activities for Liberal Studies. Identify, implement and evaluate student clubs, services, and resources to enhance engagement. Serve as a liaison between students, student groups, and University partners to resolve issues and provide guidance. Supervise, trains, and mentors students in leadership roles. Contribute to strategic planning and implementation under direction.

Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree and

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, or other appropriate field.

Required Experience:
2+ years relevant experience in student services and activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years Experience with event planning and some budget management.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills. Knowledge standard office software. Ability to interact with all levels of faculty and staff. Excellent planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to work some evenings and weekends in support of events & programs.

Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
