Job Description

ThoughtSpot is a Data & AI platform that helps companies turn data into enterprise advantage. We're Gartner MQ leaders with more than 1,000 customers globally and offices in Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

The Role:

ThoughtSpot started by giving humans a better way to ask questions of data. Spotter turned that into an AI analyst that can reason over governed enterprise data. Now we're bringing that same agentic analytics practice directly into the French market, with a dedicated commercial owner based in London.

Spotter is our agentic analytics AI it lets business users ask questions in natural language and get instant, governed answers on live data, with deep reasoning and "Why" insights built in. Unlike traditional BI tools that hand back a static dashboard and wait for someone to interpret it, Spotter reasons over the data and gives a governed answer directly.

We're looking for the person to build ThoughtSpot's presence in the French market from London. You'll have direct access to EMEA sales leadership, marketing, and solutions engineering, plus ThoughtSpot's existing customer base and partner network in France from day one.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the French territory. Build the target account list, define the ICP for France, and run the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Run pipeline generation. Combine outbound, marketing leads, partner referrals, and your own network to keep a healthy French pipeline.
  • Sell the story. Demo Spotter and the ThoughtSpot platform in French and English, tailored to how French enterprises evaluate and buy.
  • Close new business. Negotiate commercial terms, navigate procurement and legal, and get signed deals live. Every deal is your Super Bowl.
  • Partner with Customer Success. Land new French customers cleanly and set them up to expand.

What You Bring:

  • This is a high-ownership seat. You'll have the backing of ThoughtSpot's global GTM engine and the freedom to run the French market as your own territory.
  • You're fluent in French and English and comfortable running a full sales cycle in both.
  • You've carried and exceeded quota in enterprise or commercial software sales, ideally in France or the wider EMEA market.
  • You understand how French enterprises buy the stakeholders, the procurement process, the pace.
  • You can sell a technical product to both business and technical buyers.
  • You work for the customer, not the deal if it doesn't move the needle for them, you don't sell it.
  • You're in the relationship business you want the accounts you land to be long-term references, not just closed-won logos.
  • You move fast and don't wait to be told what to do.
  • We value what you've built vs your title or years of experience.
In-Office at ThoughtSpot

Spotters are expected in-office 3+ days per week to be part of the energy of their local team. Momentum compounds when we're in the room together with faster decisions, sharper problem-solving, and the kind of peer learning that doesn't happen over a screen. Being in-office is our default way of working, with flexibility available where it's genuinely needed.
