This is a high-ownership opportunity focused on structuring and executing debt for a growing US commercial real estate portfolio.
You will work across construction, bridge, mezzanine, and permanent financing for multifamily, commercial, and ground-up development projects.
The role combines property-level underwriting, capital modeling, lender engagement, and transaction execution.
You will work closely with senior leadership to determine financing strategies that balance cost, leverage, risk, and timing.
Your analysis will directly inform multimillion-dollar capital decisions and help shape the financing function as the portfolio expands.
The environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial, with significant exposure to US lenders and institutional capital partners.
This remote India-based role requires at least six hours of daily overlap with US Central Time.

• Underwrite and structure construction, bridge, mezzanine, and permanent financing for US real estate assets, evaluating pricing, leverage, flexibility, and overall transaction economics.

• Build and maintain sophisticated capital models covering DSCR, LTV, LTC, IRR, debt yield, and downside scenarios involving interest-rate changes, lease-up delays, and cost overruns.

• Develop capital stack strategies for individual projects, balancing financing costs, risk, leverage, and execution timelines.

• Review term sheets and financing proposals, identify key commercial and structural considerations, and support negotiations with lenders and capital providers.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for US lenders and institutional capital partners, coordinating diligence and helping drive transactions through closing.

• Monitor the portfolio's debt maturity schedule and proactively track DSCR, LTV, LTC, and other relevant financing and covenant metrics.

• Translate detailed underwriting and transaction analysis into concise executive-level recommendations that support timely capital decisions.

• Work closely with senior leadership to evaluate financing alternatives and improve processes for underwriting, structuring, and closing future transactions.

• 3–8 years of experience in real estate capital markets, real estate private equity, commercial real estate lending, or real estate investment banking.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with US commercial real estate debt and property-level underwriting.

• Ability to clearly explain a completed US commercial real estate transaction, including the property, capital structure, financial analysis, and rationale behind the financing.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including experience building debt waterfalls; VBA or Power Query experience is a strong advantage.

• Practical knowledge of US credit agreements, loan documentation, and institutional real estate underwriting standards.

• Strong understanding of construction, bridge, mezzanine, and permanent financing structures.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to stress-test assumptions and identify transaction risks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to turn complex underwriting into concise, actionable executive materials.

• Strong ownership, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

• Availability for a minimum of six hours of daily working-time overlap with US Central Time.

• This role is intended for candidates with direct property-level underwriting and transaction experience rather than backgrounds focused primarily on loan servicing, reconciliation, back-office operations, or ratings/research.

• Remote position available from India.

• Monthly compensation of 300,000–470,000, depending on the depth of relevant US commercial real estate debt experience.
