The Pipeline Industry Laborer plays a critical role in supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline infrastructure across various terrains and environments. The laborer works closely with skilled tradespeople and supervisors to ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and project specifications. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor in outdoor environments, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to adhere to all safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pipeline construction or a related labor-intensive construction role.
• Certification in OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Safety and Health.
• Familiarity with the use of hand and power tools specific to pipeline work.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or skid steers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the excavation, assembly, and installation of pipeline sections according to project plans and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as light machinery, to support pipeline construction activities.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
• Perform site preparation tasks including clearing debris, setting up barriers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety on site.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Assist in inspecting pipelines and related infrastructure for defects or damage and report findings to supervisors.
