Job Description
The Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused AM Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This individual will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences for hotel guests and local patrons by delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
The AM Server is responsible for providing attentive breakfast and lunch service while maintaining Marriott's standards for hospitality, guest engagement, and restaurant presentation. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately and efficiently, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area, and ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and seamless dining experience.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Previous restaurant, hotel, or food and beverage experience is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food, beverages, and daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
- Support hosts, servers, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct in accordance with company standards.
- Practice all safety procedures and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.

Requirements:Requirements
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
• Experience using POS systems preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Additional language ability preferred
