This leadership role sits at the intersection of healthcare transformation, clinical operations, and strategic consulting, driving meaningful improvements across complex health system environments. The role requires close collaboration with senior healthcare executives, clinicians, and operational leaders to design and implement sustainable, data-driven solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through complex engagements, ensuring alignment between clinical priorities and organizational strategy. With a strong emphasis on change leadership, you will help healthcare organizations adapt to evolving regulatory, financial, and operational pressures. Accountabilities
  • Lead and manage complex healthcare performance improvement engagements, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while achieving measurable client outcomes.
  • Design and implement solutions to improve clinical operations, including care coordination, length of stay reduction, and readmission prevention.
  • Apply advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to identify performance gaps, quantify benefits, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to assess challenges, develop tailored strategies, and present executive-level recommendations.
  • Drive change management initiatives that foster adoption of new processes, clinical models, and operational improvements across healthcare organizations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams, including staffing, coaching, performance management, and capability building.
  • Identify and support business development opportunities through strong client relationships and trusted advisory engagement.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and overall engagement governance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in healthcare, business, or related fields preferred.
  • 8+ years of healthcare consulting and/or hospital performance improvement experience.
  • Proven background in hospital operations, clinical enterprise leadership, or healthcare process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting engagements focused on clinical performance, care optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams, including direct supervision of individuals and cross-functional groups.
  • Deep expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale transformation initiatives within healthcare environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analysis and executive presentations.
  • Ability to travel as required (typically up to 50% depending on client and project needs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior healthcare executives.
  • Experience working in matrixed or cross-functional environments preferred.
  • US work authorization required.

  • Competitive base salary range: $185,000–$225,000 depending on experience.
  • Total compensation potential (including incentives): $231,250–$303,750 annually.
