Job Description

Partner Solutions Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Partner Solutions Architect in the United States.

In this role, you will act as a key technical bridge between an App Marketplace ecosystem and external partners building integrations on top of APIs. You will guide third-party developers through architecture design, implementation, and certification of their applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality integrations. The position combines solution architecture, API expertise, and partner enablement in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. You will play a critical role in shaping how partners build, test, and launch applications within a growing SaaS ecosystem. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketplace teams, you will influence both technical standards and partner success. This is a highly visible role where your guidance directly impacts ecosystem growth and partner satisfaction. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges while enabling external developers to succeed.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will define and support integration standards, guide partner development efforts, and ensure successful onboarding and certification of applications within the marketplace ecosystem. You will act as a trusted technical advisor while helping scale API adoption and improving partner experience.

  • Advise external partners on API usage, integration design, authentication flows, and best practices for building scalable and secure applications.
  • Review and validate partner architecture and implementation plans, providing recommendations for performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Lead application certification activities, ensuring compliance with functional, security, and quality standards before marketplace publication.
  • Support hands-on troubleshooting of APIs and integrations, including debugging requests and resolving technical issues using tools such as Postman.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, and operations) to refine certification processes, API capabilities, and documentation.
  • Deliver technical guidance through workshops, documentation improvements, and partner enablement sessions.
  • Capture partner feedback and translate it into actionable improvements for APIs, tooling, and developer experience.
Requirements:

This role requires strong technical depth in API-based integrations, combined with the ability to communicate effectively with external engineering teams and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable working across multiple partners, managing competing priorities, and driving technical outcomes independently.

  • 4–7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical account management, API integrations, or partner enablement roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation support.
  • Proficiency with Postman and solid understanding of API authentication frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
  • Experience working directly with external partners or customers on technical integration projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex integration issues independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems, app marketplaces, or platform integrations is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, deadlines, and partner relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with leadership qualities such as initiative, influence, and strategic thinking.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, and equity (where applicable).
  • Flexible work environment with remote-friendly policies and autonomy in daily work.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Paid time off, flexible vacation policies, and holidays.
  • Parental leave and family support programs, including fertility, adoption, and maternity resources.
  • Wellness and mental health support programs, including telehealth access.
  • Learning and development opportunities, leadership training, and career growth support.
  • Additional perks such as financial planning tools, pet insurance, and employee assistance programs.
