Summary

At Close the Loop, Material Handlers are responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe movement, organization, inspection, and processing of products and materials. This role plays a key part in inventory accuracy, production flow, shipping/receiving activities, and ensuring materials are properly routed for recycling, reuse, resale, or disposal.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, unload, and stage materials
• Move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment
• Verify incoming shipments and outgoing inventory against packing slips, and system records
• Prepare materials for recycling, redistribution, or shipment
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and stored in designated warehouse locations
• Support shipping and receiving operations as needed
• Remove packaging materials, shrink wrap, pallets, and debris to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and operational processes
• Communicate material shortages, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies to leadership
• Assist other departments and production areas as business needs require

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and ready to work
• Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred
• Forklift certification or recent forklift experience
• Basic computer and scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required
• Ability to lift loads of 60-100 pounds
• Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate
• Able to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
• 1+ years’ inventory management experience
• Strong attention to detail
