Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Cook to prepare quality meals for residents in a senior living community. This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in well-prepared food and works well in a team kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements. You will monitor food temperatures and quality, maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, assist with food preparation and basic inventory, and follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for cooks with prior kitchen or food preparation experience and a solid understanding of food safety. You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, stand for the length of your shift, and communicate well with the rest of the team.
