Where You Will Be Working
Nasittuq supports operations across the North Warning System (NWS), a network of remote sites located throughout Canada's Arctic. Working in the North offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure while experiencing some of the country's most remote and remarkable landscapes.

What You'll Do:
• Load, unload, move, and handle cargo, materials, equipment, supplies, and site inventory in support of daily operations.
• Perform general labour duties to support site operations, facility maintenance activities, and infrastructure upkeep.
• Assist skilled trades personnel with maintenance, repair, construction, and operational tasks as required.
• Perform snow clearing, shoveling, and grounds maintenance activities to ensure safe access to facilities, roadways, and work areas.
• Support general site housekeeping activities and maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
• Perform painting, light maintenance, and basic repair tasks to support facility preservation and operational readiness.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment in accordance with site procedures and environmental requirements.
• Receive, process, distribute, and transport deliveries, materials, supplies, and equipment across site locations.
• Assist with logistics, material handling, inventory movement, and operational support activities as required.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and operational standards while working in remote Arctic environments.
• Support special projects and perform additional duties as required to support site operations and mission readiness.
Who You Are:
CREDENTIALS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience performing labour, warehouse, logistics, construction, maintenance, customer service, or related duties is considered an asset.
• Experience working in industrial, construction, camp, mining, municipal, aviation, or remote-site environments is considered an asset.
SKILLS:
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and work locations.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and follow direction.
• Ability to work effectively within a small, multicultural, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of basic workplace safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work in physically demanding roles and adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations.
• Demonstrated accountability, problem-solving skills, and respect for others.
• Please note that employment at North Warning System is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining an Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance or Secret Level Security Clearance.
