Vice President, Sales – EMEA Broadband

Role Overview

The Vice President of Sales for EMEA Broadband will lead Harmonic’s regional sales strategy, execution and team performance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth across cable operators, fiber ISPs and strategic partners.

This leader will define and execute a clear go-to-market strategy across the region while expanding Harmonic’s footprint in core access technologies (DOCSIS and fiber) and accelerating adoption of our AI in Operations platform and software strategy.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Broadband.

Location

Flexible within EMEA with regular travel across the region and to key global engagements.

What You Will Do:

Lead the EMEA Business

  • Own and deliver the regional revenue plan, pipeline and forecast accuracy
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing sales organization across EMEA
  • Drive a culture of accountability, urgency and execution across the team


Define and Execute GTM Strategy

  • Establish a focused regional GTM strategy across cable operators, fiber ISPs and partners
  • Align account strategies to market opportunities, competitive dynamics and customer priorities
  • Expand both direct and indirect sales channels to maximize coverage and growth


Drive Strategic Account Engagement

  • Lead executive relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators across the region
  • Personally engage in large, complex deals and strategic pursuits
  • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment across sales, product, engineering and services


Scale Growth Across Platforms

  • Drive adoption of Harmonic’s DOCSIS and fiber solutions across existing and new customers
  • Expand the company’s AI in Operations platform (SensAI) as a strategic growth pillar
  • Position Harmonic as a long-term software and platform partner to operators


Operational Excellence and Sales Discipline

  • Implement structured sales methodologies and rigorous opportunity management
  • Drive pipeline development, inspection cadence and forecast discipline
  • Leverage data, market intelligence and analytics to inform strategy and execution


Talent and Leadership

  • Recruit, develop and retain top sales talent across the region
  • Build strong leadership bench strength and succession plans
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on value creation and velocity

What You Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in broadband, telecom or related infrastructure markets
  • Proven leadership experience in a VP or senior sales leadership role within EMEA
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and closing large, complex deals
  • Deep understanding of cable, DOCSIS, fiber and broadband network architectures
  • Experience selling both infrastructure and software platforms, ideally including AI-driven or cloud-native solutions
  • Demonstrated success expanding into new markets and driving new business development
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and strategic thinking
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing teams across multiple geographies
  • BS/BA required, MBA preferred
