Sr Consultant, Private Equity

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Consultant, Private Equity in India.

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity professional to join a high-performing alternative fund services team supporting global investment clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex transfer agency operations, oversee critical fund activities, and contribute to strategic initiatives within a sophisticated financial services environment. You will collaborate with international stakeholders, drive operational excellence, support business transitions, and help enhance processes through innovation and automation. Accountabilities:
  • Manage complex private equity transfer agency activities, including capital calls, distributions, investor onboarding, account maintenance, and fund-related transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of operational activities and deliverables to maintain high standards of client service and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams to support new business migrations, onboarding projects, operational transitions, and process standardization initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for private equity products and transfer agency operations, developing knowledge resources and supporting cross-functional training efforts.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and strategic projects designed to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external counterparties, and stakeholders to resolve operational issues, investigate discrepancies, and address client inquiries effectively.
  • Support application enhancements, testing initiatives, and business transformation projects by gathering requirements, validating solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, contribute to skill development programs, and assist leadership in maintaining a high-performing team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 9–11 years of experience in Private Equity Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, or alternative investment operations.
  • Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, investor servicing, capital account statements, capital calls, distributions, and transfer agency processes.
  • Hands-on experience using Investran and other fund administration or investor servicing platforms.
  • Proven experience managing complex operational processes, quality assurance reviews, and client-facing responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management, process optimization, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting transitions, migrations, and global operational projects within financial services environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor team members, share knowledge, and support organizational growth.
