Job Description

SUMMARY
Beverage Cart Attendants are responsible for the snack and beverage services to guests on and off the golf course. They handle the entire bar and grill area when scheduled solely to work inside the clubhouse bar and grill area.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 18 years of age with valid driver’s license and clean MVR for 3 years.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet and service guests.
  • Load and unload beverage cart.
  • Serve guests on/off the golf course.
  • Keep beverage carts clean.
  • Count and reconcile inventory.
  • Submit paperwork for proper payment.
  • Pay close attention to cash handling procedures and ensure cash is deposited accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining, stocking and cleaning grill area when in the clubhouse.
  • Responsible for maintaining, stocking and cleaning entire grill area when scheduled to work the bar solely.
  • Be aware of pace of play problems and cart traffic violations and report these to the golf shop immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret general business document or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
