This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Inside Auto Claims Adjuster based in United States.
This role is responsible for investigating and resolving basic to moderately complex auto insurance claims in a fully remote environment.
You will evaluate coverage, liability, and damages while ensuring claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.
The position involves direct interaction with claimants, insureds, witnesses, and other parties throughout the claims process.
You will combine investigative skills, sound judgment, negotiation, and customer service to reach appropriate claim resolutions.
The role requires strong organization and attention to detail while managing multiple claims and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
You will work within established guidelines while collaborating with internal teams to support consistent and customer-focused outcomes.

- Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims, including minor to moderately complex accidents, and prepare clear and concise claim summaries.
- Evaluate claims to determine applicable coverage, liability, and damages while applying established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, witnesses, and other involved parties as part of the investigation process.
- Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with established practices, guidelines, and applicable requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files, including investigation notes, summaries, supporting information, and documented decision rationale.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards throughout the full claim lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to support efficient, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution.
- Manage multiple claims and competing priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely follow-through.
- At least 2 years of prior claims-handling experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning claims-related software, systems, and tools.
- An adjuster’s license may be required in multiple markets, with all required licenses obtained within 60 days of hire and maintained through applicable continuing education and renewal requirements.
- Candidates with an active adjuster license in Texas, Florida, or their resident state may be eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
- Candidates must reside in an eligible state at the time of hire: New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.
- This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Washington, or Hawaii.
- Successful candidates must complete a background investigation.
- Candidates must have a dedicated, private, distraction-free workspace at home, appropriate desk and seating, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Employment-based visa sponsorship is generally not provided for this position.
- Base compensation of $50,000–$60,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
