Job Description

Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie is seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Financial Services Consultant to join our Sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible ensuring all documentation is in place for vehicle financing and for offering expert advice on finance options, vehicle protection plans and personal coverage relating to the ownership of the vehicle. Top performers in this role can earn upwards of $100,000 or more annually.

Key Responsibilities as a Financial Services Consultant:

  • Work with customers to arrange vehicle financing including completing credit applications and matching customers to suitable financial sources to obtain necessary approvals
  • Recommend insurance options, extended warranty, protection packages and aftermarket products to our customers and obtain their approval to add the products to their deal
  • Finalize sales purchase and complete all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle
  • Work closely with sales staff and management to close deals and ensure our customers receive an exceptional buying experience
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with lenders and financial institutions
  • Maximize dealership profitability through effective deal structuring and back-end product penetration
  • Performs other tasks and duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Automotive Sales and Finance Manger experience is required
  • Exceptional customer service and the ability to build relationships
  • Strong aptitude for numbers
  • High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work with a team and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a criminal record and credit check
