This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst (HIP PF) based in the United States.

This role combines commercial analysis, pricing, quotation development, and business reporting within a technical industrial environment.
You will help develop accurate, competitive quotations across multiple business units while supporting broader commercial decision-making.
The position works closely with sales, operations, customer service, quality, finance-related teams, and other internal stakeholders.
You’ll use structured costing models, commercial data, and reporting to support pricing decisions and business performance.
The role also provides opportunities to improve forecasting, tracking, and analytical processes across the commercial organization.
Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and clear communication will be essential when working with both operational and senior stakeholders.
This is a fully remote opportunity with a collaborative, process-driven environment and exposure to complex industrial and manufacturing activities.

Accountabilities
  • Prepare accurate quotations across relevant business units, including HIP, heat treatment, and surface technology, following established commercial guidance and standards.

  • Develop pricing using disciplined mathematical models that incorporate costing standards, margin expectations, competitive knowledge, and business requirements.

  • Maintain accurate quotation tracking and commercial data in Salesforce, ensuring a high level of data quality and attention to detail.

  • Follow established pricing procedures and collaborate with commercial, sales, operations, and customer service teams to develop appropriate pricing for plant processes.

  • Review and implement quotation revisions as directed by commercial leadership.

  • Develop meaningful commercial metrics and regularly prepare and present reporting to sales and commercial management.

  • Develop and deploy commercial reporting, forecasting, tracking tools, and other business information to support decision-making.

  • Work with customers and internal departments, including quality, customer service, order entry, billing, and accounts receivable, to investigate and resolve commercial issues.

  • Collaborate with plants, corporate teams, and other stakeholders to promote consistent processes and effective teamwork.

  • Follow applicable environmental management and operational procedures while maintaining professional standards and compliance requirements.

  • Contribute to additional commercial projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Sales and Marketing, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in quotation development, pricing, commercial analysis, or a closely related area.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and related documentation.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including a solid understanding of basic math and algebraic functions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort working with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is an advantage.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, plant personnel, sales teams, customers, and other stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in pricing, data entry, reporting, and documentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing assigned responsibilities independently and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established procedures, accept constructive feedback, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Professional proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

  • Candidates must meet applicable ITAR requirements and therefore must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

  • Ability to work for extended periods in a seated office environment and perform required physical activities, including occasional bending, reaching, pulling, or lifting of approximately 25–30 pounds.

Benefits
  • Fully remote position based in the United States.

  • Opportunity to contribute to pricing, commercial strategy, forecasting, and business analysis within a global industrial services environment.

  • Exposure to multiple technical business units and cross-functional commercial operations.

  • Collaborative work with sales, operations, customer service, quality, and commercial leadership teams.

  • Opportunity to develop expertise in quotation management, costing, commercial reporting, and industrial processes.

  • Equal opportunity workplace with a commitment to a professional and inclusive working environment.
