Job Description
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking an experienced General Surgery Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our established General Surgery team in Astoria, Oregon.
CMH is looking for highly skilled surgical clinician who will provide comprehensive surgical care at our 25-bed critical access hospital where your expertise will have a direct, positive impact on patient care. Practice Details
- Collaborative practice with dedicated clinic days and OR block time.
- Busy, rural general surgery practice with a variety of bread-and-butter cases.
- Autonomy in seeing new, follow up and pre/post consultations.
- Collaborative practice working with multiple surgeons who love teaching.
- Monday through Friday schedule with up to 10 days of call per month.

Required Qualifications
- Two (2) year surgical PA/NP experience
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner license
- Active unrestricted DEA Certificate
- ACLS America Heart Association certification
- Physician Associate Requirements
- Master’s or baccalaureate degree and completion of an ARCA-PA approved program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Physician Associate license
- Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
- Master’s, post-master’s or doctorate degree in a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCNE or ACEN
