Blood Bank Technician I

JOB SUMMARY |
Assures an adequate blood supply through proper solicitation and collection from acceptable donors while following appropriate guidelines and safety factors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS |
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
- No previous experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
- CPR within 90 days of hire
- Employees must possess a valid Texas driver's license or must gain prior approval to operate under another U.S. state driver's license
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Input data into computer programs
- Maintain logs
- Maintain work area according to OSHA and NIOSH stanards
