About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Department. You will work closely with senior accounting staff and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling transactions
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
Reconcile assigned monthly balance sheet accounts
Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with bank reconciliations and account verification
Perform variance analyses and investigate discrepancies
Support audit activities, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Maintain accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of accounting experience in corporate and/or public accounting environments
Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Familiarity with accounting workflow automation tools
Experience with financial consolidation or multi-entity accounting
Previous experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
CPA candidate or CPA certification
Experience with financial reporting software or tools

Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $60,600 - $75,800 annually
Pay within this range will be determined in good faith based on job-related
factors, which may include skills, experience, education/training, location,
and internal equity.
