Accountabilities:

The Group Account Supervisor will manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare advertising accounts while leading account teams and ensuring high-quality strategic and operational execution. This role requires strong leadership, client partnership skills, and the ability to guide teams toward successful outcomes.

  • Provide strategic consultation and contribute meaningful insights to support client strategies and business objectives.
  • Develop deep knowledge of client markets, including disease areas, healthcare providers, professional societies, competitors, and evolving treatment landscapes.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with clients and agency partners, including executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities, address challenges proactively, and create open communication channels around performance, priorities, and business needs.
  • Advocate for agency strategy and perspectives while helping clients navigate complex decisions and priorities.
  • Oversee financial management activities, including scopes of work, forecasts, reconciliations, reports, pricing guidance, and budget tracking.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for growth while supporting profitability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with project teams to review deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution of client initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and support account team members by setting clear goals, providing feedback, and encouraging professional development.
  • Evaluate team performance, identify training needs, and balance workloads to support productivity and collaboration.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare advertising professional with strong account leadership capabilities, strategic thinking skills, and a proven ability to manage complex client relationships. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of agency experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing account teams.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, including overnight stays, as needed.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $139,000 USD, based on skills, experience, qualifications, and business needs.
