This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketo Consultant based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing technology professional to help organizations maximize the value of their Adobe Marketo Engage investments. Working remotely, you will partner with clients to design scalable marketing automation solutions, optimize platform performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The role combines technical architecture, strategic consulting, and client engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges through technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, advise senior stakeholders, and influence digital transformation initiatives across multiple industries. Accountabilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on Adobe Marketo Engage architecture, implementation, governance, and platform optimization.
  • Gather business objectives, technical requirements, and key performance indicators to develop scalable marketing automation solutions aligned with client goals.
  • Assess existing technical environments, identify implementation gaps, and recommend improvements that enhance adoption, performance, and long-term scalability.
  • Design and evaluate integrations between Marketo and enterprise platforms, including CRM, ERP, REST APIs, webhooks, and other business systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation challenges involving Smart Campaigns, custom objects, custom activities, synchronization, processing performance, and operational workflows.
  • Facilitate technical workshops, solution reviews, and presentations for both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality project delivery, documentation, and workload tracking.
  • Create client-facing documentation, technical recommendations, and presentations while leveraging AI-powered tools to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Continuously expand technical expertise through certifications, research, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of client-facing consulting experience with extensive expertise in Adobe Marketo Engage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Marketo architecture, data models, automation, governance, integrations, and platform troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing automation strategies and enterprise implementation best practices.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, CRM synchronization, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Experience presenting technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with AI tools to improve productivity and technical delivery.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
