We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Task Force General Manager to provide hands-on leadership and operational support across our portfolio.
Position OverviewThe Task Force General Manager serves as a strategic operational leader deployed to properties requiring transitional leadership, performance improvement, renovation oversight, new openings, or temporary management coverage. This role requires flexibility, strong business acumen, and a passion for developing teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable traveling extensively to support Embergrove properties nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Provide interim General Manager leadership at assigned properties.
- Stabilize and improve hotel performance in revenue, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.
- Oversee full hotel operations including Rooms Division, F&B (where applicable), Sales, Engineering, and Housekeeping.
- Drive financial results through budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor property leadership teams.
- Support hotel transitions, acquisitions, renovations, and new openings.
- Deliver consistent communication and reporting to corporate leadership.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
- Multi-brand experience preferred (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, etc.).
- Proven ability to improve operational and financial performance.
- Strong knowledge of PMS, revenue management systems, and hotel financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75–100% as business needs require.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
