This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a J&J MedTech Butterfly Customer Master Lead based in the United States.

This is a senior data leadership role supporting a large-scale global SAP transformation and migration program. You will lead the design and evolution of Customer Master and Business Partner processes across complex enterprise environments. The role combines deep SAP functional expertise with data governance, migration, process design, and cross-functional leadership. You will help define future-state operating models, global standards, workflows, controls, and regional requirements. Working closely with business, IT, data, migration, and quality teams, you will ensure customer data is accurate, harmonized, governed, and ready for deployment. The position offers an opportunity to influence critical transformation activities while solving complex data challenges at global scale. Success will require strong technical judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around common data standards.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the design of the global Customer Master maintenance process, establishing the future-state operating model, standards, governance framework, roles and responsibilities, workflows, controls, and regional or local requirements.
  • Provide functional and data leadership across Customer Master and Business Partner domains throughout migration, transformation, and deployment activities.
  • Partner with global and regional business stakeholders, IT, data, migration, QA, and functional teams to align Customer/BP data requirements and readiness objectives.
  • Perform detailed data mapping, analysis, cleansing, harmonization, validation, and reconciliation activities throughout migration cycles.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of SAP ECC Customer Master and S/4HANA Business Partner structures to support data readiness and enterprise transformation activities.
  • Support ECC-to-S/4HANA Customer and Business Partner migration, including pre-load and post-load validation and reconciliation.
  • Identify, document, track, and coordinate resolution of Customer/BP data defects and quality issues, including root-cause analysis and downstream impact assessment.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, data rules, validation reports, governance materials, and other artifacts required for operational and audit readiness.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across business and technology teams to understand challenges, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, migration controls, validation processes, governance practices, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the definition and implementation of consistent global data standards while accounting for legitimate regional and local requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working with SAP Customer Master and Business Partner data, preferably within large-scale transformation, migration, or enterprise data programs.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with SAP ECC Customer Master, including General, Company Code, and Sales Area data, key tables such as KNA1, KNB1, KNVV, KNVP, KNVI, and KNVK, and field-level functionality.
  • Strong knowledge of the S/4HANA Business Partner data model, including roles, groupings, number ranges, relationships, addresses, tax and identification data, and SD/FI integration.
  • Strong understanding of Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI), including Customer-to-BP mapping, synchronization, configuration, and ECC-to-S/4HANA conversion.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MDG/MDM for Customer and Business Partner domains, including data models, change requests, workflows, validations, derivations, approvals, and governance.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SD, FI-AR, and Order-to-Cash integration, including pricing, shipping, billing, taxation, and payment terms.
  • Knowledge of SAP Customer Master configuration, including account groups, BP groupings, number ranges, partner functions, customer hierarchies, and field or screen configuration.
  • Proven experience with large-scale Customer Master data migrations, including mapping, cleansing, harmonization, conversion, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Strong ability to analyze Customer/BP data at the field and table level, troubleshoot issues across ECC, MDG, and S/4HANA, and identify root causes and downstream impacts.
  • Familiarity with SAP transactions such as XD01/02/03, VD01/02/03, FD01/02/03, and BP, along with SAP mass-maintenance and data migration or loading tools.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance, data transport mechanisms, master data management, and data-quality best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, data mapping, cleansing, and validation capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across technical, functional, business, and regional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively within complex, global, cross-functional transformation environments.
Benefits
  • Opportunity to play a key leadership role in a major global SAP transformation and data migration initiative.
  • Exposure to complex enterprise-scale Customer Master, Business Partner, MDG, CVI, and S/4HANA environments.
  • High-impact work involving global data governance, process transformation, and operational readiness.
  • Collaboration with business, IT, data, migration, and quality teams across a complex international organization.
  • Opportunity to influence future-state processes, standards, controls, and data management practices.
  • Professional growth through exposure to large-scale SAP transformation and master data management initiatives.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package based on experience and employment terms.
