Job Description

Do you have a passion for leading teams, partnering with providers, and supporting individuals with complex behavioral health needs? Would you like to be part of a diversity-driven, mission-minded team that makes a difference in our community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Clinical Supervisor of Residential and Inpatient Services. This is a hybrid position where you will split your work time between the office, community, and home.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Clinical Supervisor of Residential and Inpatient Services, you will provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff while supporting high-quality, person-centered services. You will provide clinical supervision as needed and serve as a key resource for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) requirements, partnering with ISK, the PIHP, MDHHS, providers, and community partners.

You will oversee service authorization, hospital and crisis continued-stay reviews, and discharge planning efforts. You will also support quality assurance and utilization management activities to ensure services and documentation meet Medicaid, CARF, and program standards.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, providers, hospitals, and community partners to improve care coordination, address system gaps, develop effective procedures, and resolve complaints. You will also participate in committees and contribute to policies and systems that improve services and outcomes for the individuals we serve.

What We Require
A Master’s degree licensed professional with a minimum of three years’ experience in behavioral health care services working with adults is required. Experience working with individuals living in specialized residential settings and with psychiatric hospitalization and AOT processes preferred. Experience in supervision with demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to train/mentor other team members is preferred. You must have one of the following Michigan Licensures: Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Limited licenses will be considered. A valid Michigan Driver’s License is required.

A strong understanding of the needs of persons with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders is needed. You will understand how to implement a strong recovery philosophy and be able to collaborate and develop teams.

Why Work For ISK
Because we make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve in the Kalamazoo community every day. You will have the opportunity to work with amazing co-workers in an environment that values diversity, inclusion, work/life balance and encourages ongoing education for professional development.

We also offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with some of the best retirement plans in southwest Michigan. You will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, 23 days of PTO and the opportunity to earn additional PTO hours for participating in our wellness program!
