Kore Cares is hiring a full-time Lead Caregiver in Sioux Falls, SD.

What You'll Do
As a Lead Caregiver, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the agency while continuing to provide hands-on care to clients.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Provide coverage for client shifts when caregivers are unable to work due to illness or emergencies
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Introduce caregivers to clients and provide hands-on training in the office and in clients' homes
- Mentor and support caregivers as they grow in their roles
- Provide personal care such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with range-of-motion activities as outlined in the client's care plan
- Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and complete kitchen cleanup
- Provide light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and companionship
- Follow infection control and universal precaution practices
- Maintain accurate records of client condition and services provided
- Communicate changes in client condition to the agency office team
- Help ensure clients receive high-quality care while maintaining their dignity and independence
- Perform other duties as needed to support clients, caregivers, and agency operations
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver who is ready to take on additional responsibility and serve as a resource for both clients and fellow caregivers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of caregiving or patient care experience preferred
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and using Microsoft Office and other business applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle business information appropriately
- Ability to adapt easily to changing situations
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other work locations
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
- Proof of eligibility for employment in the United States
