The Role of the Director of Family and Community Engagement
The Director of Enrollment, Attendance, and Family Engagement plays a critical role in ensuring strong student enrollment, consistent attendance, long-term persistence, and meaningful family partnership across all FACE-supported campuses. This role is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, coaching campus teams, and developing systems that strengthen family engagement while driving student outcomes.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director of FACE and serves as a key thought partner in building cohesive, family-centered systems that support students from recruitment through persistence.

The Director of Family and Community Engagement at RMP will…

Enrollment Strategy & Implementation

  • Support campuses in achieving annual enrollment and re-enrollment goals through strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop and monitor enrollment dashboards to track application, registration, and matriculation progress.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and identify opportunities to improve recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Partner with campus teams to strengthen outreach strategies and improve family onboarding experiences.
  • Support the implementation of enrollment campaigns, community events, and family information sessions.
Attendance & Persistence Leadership
  • Develop and oversee systems that improve daily attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism.
  • Partner with campuses to identify attendance barriers and implement intervention plans for students and families.
  • Monitor persistence data and collaborate with schools to proactively address withdrawal risks.
  • Create systems for tracking attendance and persistence metrics across campuses.
  • Support campuses in implementing family-centered approaches to student persistence and engagement.
Family Engagement & Partnership
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen authentic family engagement and partnership across campuses.
  • Support the planning and execution of network and campus-based family engagement events.
  • Coach school teams on best practices for communication, relationship building, and culturally responsive family engagement.
  • Collaborate with campus leaders to ensure families feel informed, connected, and empowered in their child’s educational experience.
  • Partner with community organizations and stakeholders to expand resources and support available to families.
Coaching & Capacity Building
  • Provide direct coaching and support to campus operations and leadership teams on enrollment, attendance, persistence, and family engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate regular strategy meetings to review data, identify trends, and co-create action plans with campuses.
  • Develop and lead professional development sessions for campus staff focused on family engagement and student persistence.
  • Share best practices and create systems that drive consistency and operational excellence across campuses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with network teams to align enrollment, attendance, persistence, and family engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with academics, student services, operations, and FACE teams to ensure coordinated support for students and families.
  • Support network-wide initiatives that improve the overall family and student experience.

Required Qualifications:

Required: Operations and Enrollment Experience, Bilingual

Preferred: Sales Experience

Education: Bachelors

Salary
$90,000 - $135,000 annually. This range reflects the full growth potential of the role over time. Rocky Mountain Prep typically expects to place candidates in the lower- to middle-range, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
