Clerk, Stores in Somers Point, New Jersey at Shore Medical Center

Position Summary
This position is responsible for replenishing storeroom inventory by par level, exchange cart system or Omnicell generated pick list to assigned responsibility areas. Uses People Soft application to determine what par is and to appropriately charge supplies to using areas. Accurately performs material stock request (MSR’s) functionality in PeopleSoft and picks orders from shelves. Takes freight from the freight elevator and restocks storeroom area. Maintains steady workflow, despite constant interruptions from telephone calls and hospital personnel walking into department to pick up supplies. Works scheduled weekend rotation and holidays.

Minimum Requirements
• 1 year of experience in a storage room/ stockroom
• Intermediate computer knowledge, ability to process paperwork, and keep an accurate inventory
• Valid NJ driver's license required
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to freight/stock, walk, and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Logistical experience in a healthcare setting
• Associates Degree or currently enrolled in Vocational School
• Word processing, spreadsheet application, and database management skills

Salary Range - $16.36 - $23.14 hourly (based on experience)
