Summary

Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must possess a current license to practice professional nursing or possess a temporary practice permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2. Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing; a thorough knowledge of professional nursing standards; developed skill in delivering nursing care and the ability to adapt of individual needs required.
3. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
4. The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
5. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

1. One to three years clinical experience in critical care, emergency room, or medical imaging nursing.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
