Purpose of the Position

A Production Technician at Kistler Instrument Corp performs all the assembly, testing, calibration, and/or inspection operations required to manufacture Kistler products. They work under guidance of the Production Supervisor and collaborate closely with production engineering.

Main Tasks

Assemble and test products according to product documentation (assembly instructions, test procedures, engineering drawings, etc.)Perform assembly operations such as soldering, mechanical fastening, and/or adhesive bonding under a microscope using small tools (tweezers, soldering irons, etc.)Ensure product quality by performing visual inspections, functional tests, and/or calibrationsBasic operation of equipment necessary to assemble, test, and/or calibrate transducers (welders, bead blasters, shakers, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Requirements Profile

Ability to organize daily work activities according to supervisor instructionWork independently or in a team environmentHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent is requiredStrong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsSee through and work at a binocular microscope for extended periods
