Job Description

In direct support of the VP Therapy & Diagnostic Services, the Director of Operations — Therapy & Diagnostic Services ensures that all therapy & diagnostic operations within Parkview Health function effectively and appropriately. Has direct responsibility for the coordination of all operational teams within the service areas to provide quality patient care. Ensures that assigned departments, initiatives and situations/issues are handled efficiently and effectively, and communicated appropriately. It is responsible for management and oversight of initiatives related to growth, safety, and financial operations within Parkview Heath. Serves as a liaison to physicians, patients and co-workers at all levels to ensure excellent care for every person, every day. Responsible for executing leadership, performance and process improvement initiatives in support of the achievement of goals and metrics established by Parkview Health for therapy and diagnostic services. |

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. |
|
Five years of progressive leadership and/or business experience required within a healthcare setting or related field. |
|
Must demonstrate excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare business administrative needs through prior operational and/or departmental leadership experience. Possesses strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple disciplines at all levels of the organization. Demonstrates superior service excellence and collaboration skills in working with key leaders, physicians, co-workers and customers. |
