Summary:

As a Commercial Roofing Technician, you will play a crucial role in executing roofing projects for our diverse range of commercial clients. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the high-quality workmanship and exceptional service that our company is known for.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of various commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and specialized roofing materials.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify roofing issues, leaks, and potential problem areas.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Managers and Team Members to ensure timely completion of roofing projects, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Use industry-specific tools and equipment to complete roofing tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Provide accurate assessments and recommendations to clients regarding roofing repairs and replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working at heights and handling roofing materials.
• Document work performed, materials used, and any additional information for accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized job site, prioritizing safety and minimizing disruptions.
• Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance roofing skills.
• Utilization of our CRM to maintain project documentation, including job photos, contracts, change orders, closeout documents, etc.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, crews, and subcontractors.
• Proven track record of outstanding customer service experience.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and software for communication, documentation, and project management.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing and walking, which may be for extended periods of time
• Lifting and carrying, up to 50 lbs
• Pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
• Manipulation of objects and materials, including holding, grasping, turning, and touching
• Keyboarding
• Driving
• Stooping, crouching, kneeling
• Climbing ladders, stairs, or scaffolding
• Hearing, in-person and through the telephone or electronic device (such as a tablet)
• Visual acuity, both near (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 inches or less) and far (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 feet or more)

Working Hours:

Generally, Monday through Friday, 7am until 5pm, and occasionally on weekends, if jobs are in progress.
