Contract Administrator/Paralegal

The Contract Administrator/Paralegal will support the Legal Team with contractual administration, contract negotiations, legal operations, and compliance program execution. They will serve as a key operational partner by administering our contract lifecycle management system (DocuSign IAM), supporting customer and partner contracting workflows, and maintaining the templates, playbooks, and compliance programs that scale legal across the organization.
What You Will Do- Review, draft, negotiate and edit agreements, primarily related to the company’s sales and procurement contracts.
- Serve as system administrator or super-use for the Legal Team’s contract lifecycle management platform (CLM) (e.g., DocuSign IAM).
- Support CLM implementation, enhancements, and ongoing optimization.
- Help administer the Legal Sales database using DocuSign IAM, Microsoft Office Suite and other applications.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and IT on contract process automation.
- Responsible for assigned agreements throughout the entire contracting process up to execution and implementation.
- Work closely with the Security and Finance teams as required when negotiating agreements.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of the Company’s internal components (such as Sales, Customer Implementation, Security, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, etc.) and knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
- Assist the sales department in the completion and execution of the contract process.
- Partnering with other departments to assist and facilitate the completion of third party questionnaires and compliance requests.
- Assist with various compliance matters from time to time, including data privacy and ethics.
- Assist with corporate governance and entity management activities, including corporate filings and policy management.
- Maintenance of the Legal Team files and procedures, including contract administration and compliance matters.
- Comfortable across a range of commercial agreements — sales, procurement, and content licensing/distribution — and used to working alongside business stakeholders across functions. Prior experience with all three is great; experience with two and curiosity about the third is fine.
- Hands-on Experience administering or configuring a CLM platform (DocuSign IAM strongly preferred.
- Experience designing or improving legal workflows, automations, or intake systems.
- Experience supporting privacy operations (DSARs, customer inquiries, privacy questionnaires) and compliance programs (SOC 2, data protection, and provider sanction review).
- At least three (3) years’ experience negotiating agreements (sales, procurement, or licensing) and performing administrative functions for compliance, privacy or corporate governance projects in either an in-house or law firm setting.
- Associate/Bachelors degree, Paralegal certification or JD candidates preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, across organizational and geographic boundaries, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and collaborate with other teams throughout the entire contracting process.
- Ability to proactively prioritize, multitask, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign.
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and JIRA is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and with proficient time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strong independent/critical/analytical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The base salary range for this position is $95K to $105K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
