- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data integration, transformation, and storage across multiple systems.
- Build and optimize data warehouses, databases, and data models to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, analytics, product, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data workflows, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and system performance.
- Implement and maintain data governance and security practices, including compliance measures, access controls, encryption, and data quality standards.
- Perform data analysis and contribute insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements and best practices for data engineering processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data management roles within scalable technical environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience working with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and associated data services.
- Experience with workflow orchestration and pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory is highly valued.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices, ideally in regulated industries such as healthcare.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Ability and willingness to mentor team members and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
- Competitive salary ranging from $86,400 to $138,600 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
