Leave of Absence Administrator (aka Seasoned Leave & Accommodations Specialist)(High-Volume | CA experience required)
About the Role
Are you a high-performing leave and accommodations expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage 200+ active cases while partnering with employees, managers, and HR to deliver compliant, compassionate outcomes.
This is not an entry-level role—this is for someone who excels under pressure, thinks critically, and operates independently while still collaborating across the business.
What You’ll Do
• Manage a beginning to end cycle of high-volume caseload (200+ concurrent leave & accommodation cases)
• Serve as the subject matter expert on:
FMLA, CFRA, ADA
California-specific leave laws (PDL, PSL, etc.)
• Lead the interactive process with complex leave of absences and workplace accommodations cases.
• Partner with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders to resolve complex cases
• Ensure full compliance while delivering a best-in-class employee experience
• Balance competing priorities with strong time management and decision-making
What You Bring
• 3–5+ years of direct experience managing leave and accommodation programs
• Proven experience handling high volume case management
• Knowledge of California leave laws
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Confidence communicating complex policies to diverse audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

• You need constant guidance or oversight
• You lack hands-on experience with California leave laws
