Here's What You Need

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other Business related degree required (BBA, BSMGT etc)

Experience

• 3+ years of Finance healthcare setting required

• 1 Year of Decision Support experience preferred

Licenses and Certification

• CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire preferred OR

• Other relevant certification upon hire preferred (HFMA etc)

What You Will Do

• Assist the hospital in navigating productivity and support decision making for the future finances and purchase capital of the hospital

• Perform Financial analysis, data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.

• Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications.

• Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.

• Prepare and deliver decision support reports to both internal and external customers.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and Power Point presentations.

• Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.

• Work with ITS and other personnel to ensure proper utilization of data.

• Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of decision support system.

• Explain clinical and quality based decision support application topics.
