We're hiring a Crew Leader to support sewer infrastructure operations and maintenance for the city’s utility systems in Eatonton, GA. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for leading field crews performing sewer, water, and stormwater infrastructure repair, maintenance, and construction work.
The starting hourly pay is $23.00-$28.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You’ll DoOur Crew Leaders plan, coordinates, and actively participate in daily field operations.
- Lead and organize daily crew activities, assign work, prioritize tasks, and help keep projects on schedule
- Support and enforce a strong safety culture by following company safety standards and participating in ongoing training
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dump trucks, front-end loaders, vacuum trucks, and other utility equipment
- Perform excavation, sewer line clearing, buried infrastructure repair, pipe installation, and storm drain maintenance
- Support road repairs, grading, resurfacing, right-of-way maintenance, debris removal, and other public works projects
- Perform inspections of sewer and water collection/distribution systems to support regulatory compliance
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs, including hydraulic components, welding, and general upkeep
- Maintain accurate work documentation through the company’s work order system
- Respond to emergency utility issues and after-hours operational needs as required
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Valid Class A or B CDL license
- Experience in water, sewer, utility construction, public works, heavy equipment, or a similar industry
- Hands-on experience with underground utility systems, pipe installation and repair, excavation work, and equipment such as excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, dump trucks, vacuum trucks, jackhammers, saws, and related tools
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in sewer/water construction, maintenance, utilities, or public works preferred
- Crew leadership, field supervision, or welding experience is a plus
- Willingness to work overtime, non-standard hours, and emergency response assignments as needed
