Seasonal Parking Lot Attendant in Newport, Rhode Island at Landings Management, LLC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-service oriented Parking Lot Attendant to manage vehicle flow and ensure a safe, organized parking experience at our Newport, RI locations. This role involves assisting visitors, maintaining lot cleanliness, and supporting smooth operations in a busy and often seasonal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and guide vehicles into designated parking spaces efficiently and safely
• Collect parking fees and issue tickets or receipts as required
• Monitor lot capacity and communicate availability to incoming drivers
• Provide friendly assistance, directions, and information to visitors and tourists
• Enforce parking rules and report any safety or security concerns
• Maintain cleanliness of the lot, including trash removal and basic upkeep
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Basic cash handling experience preferred
• Knowledge of Newport area is a plus

Work Environment:
This role is primarily outdoors and may involve standing for extended periods, especially during peak tourist seasons.
