Housekeeper Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper Supervisor who shares our passion for serving seniors and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This leadership role offers an opportunity to oversee housekeeping operations, support staff, and ensure a positive living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met

- Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow

- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and resident privacy

- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and address any deficiencies promptly

- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning policies and procedures

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, especially in healthcare and institutional settings

- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that promotes professionalism and high performance

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in professional housekeeping, preferably in healthcare or institutional environments

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

- Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities

- Knowledge of environmental services (EVS) standards and best practices

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, tidy environment

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and residents

- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively

- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
