This role is designed for a seasoned consulting professional with deep expertise in US retirement platforms and digital transformation initiatives. You will lead strategic modernization programs focused on retirement recordkeeping systems, cloud adoption, and scalable enterprise architecture solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and clients, you will help optimize retirement operations, enhance participant experiences, and drive innovation across the retirement services ecosystem. The position combines domain expertise in retirement products with modern technology consulting, offering the opportunity to influence large-scale transformation programs with measurable business impact. - Provide subject matter expertise across US retirement products, platforms, and operational processes.
- Lead modernization initiatives for retirement recordkeeping platforms and related technology ecosystems.
- Drive cloud transformation strategies, including hollow-the-core initiatives and migration programs.
- Design and improve digital experiences for participants, sponsors, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize retirement operations such as payroll integration, contributions, distributions, and related workflows.
- Architect integrations with TPAs, trustees, payroll providers, advisors, and third-party systems.
- Define and enhance data architecture, reporting frameworks, operational data stores, and analytics capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and cost optimization across retirement systems.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to align transformation strategies with organizational goals.
- Support enterprise architecture initiatives using APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
- 10+ years of experience within the US retirement and retirement recordkeeping domain.
- Strong expertise with at least one retirement recordkeeping platform such as FIS Omni, SS&C TRAC, Relius, or similar solutions.
- Deep understanding of Defined Contribution (DC) plans including 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans.
- Solid knowledge of ERISA, SECURE 2.0, and retirement industry regulations.
- Familiarity with retirement-related contracts and documentation including Adoption Agreements, Service Agreements, Loan Policies, Fee Schedules, and Trustee Agreements.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven stakeholder management, consulting, and client engagement capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple transformation initiatives in a remote environment.
- Experience working in consulting or digital transformation engagements within financial services is highly preferred.
